Aroma Complete – 122 Essential Oils – Day 1 Awaken

Love love love this oil blend! I love the fragrance of Awaken. Not surprising since it’s made up of FIVE blends from Young Living! 5-in-1! Joy, Forgiveness, Present Time, Dream Catcher and Harmony. So awesome to have these 5 already wonderful blends all in 1 bottle. Feel so proud of myself for picking such a power-packed blend as the first oil to feature. *beams*

I was first attracted to the name. Not being a morning person, I always struggle to get up in the morning. I have tried very hard, most of my life, to be a morning person. But it’s hard when I can’t go to bed early! I can do lots of work, undisturbed, at night, when the whole family is asleep. Like now. I was supposed to be in bed 2 hours ago! So I figured it must be a secret wish of mine to wake up bright and fresh early in the morning, that’s why I was drawn to the name AWAKEN. I want to be awakened in the morning!

Another reason that I was drawn to Awaken is that it reminds me of a song, Kari Jobe’s You Are Good. One of my favourite songs. It sings about God’s goodness to us and it is His goodness that draws us to Him.

“Everyday, I’ll awaken my praise, pour out a song from my heart…” is a line from the song.

It’s been my prayer to be more aware of God’s presence in my life and to live each day in His presence and with His love and power and to know that He is good…yes, and waking up early too…

Awaken – five specific blends combine to awaken and enhance inner self-awareness that strengthens the desire to reach one’s highest potential. It stimulates right brain creativity, amplifying the function of the pineal and pituitary glands…

It’s too long for me to describe all the blends in Awaken in this post, we’ll get to each of the 5 blends in the coming posts! I’ll list the ingredients on the bottle label, which is extra long and wrapped around the bottle almost 1.5 rounds! Here goes:

  • Coconut oil
  • Bergamot
  • Ylang Ylang
  • Geranium
  • Sandalwood
  • Neroli
  • Tangerine
  • Lemon
  • Coriander
  • Spruce
  • Frankincense
  • Lavender
  • Melissa
  • Black Pepper
  • Angelica
  • Orange
  • Anise
  • Juniper
  • Jasmine
  • Roman Chamomile
  • Palmarosa
  • Blue Tansy
  • Hyssop
  • Spanish Sage
  • Helichrysum
  • Rose

Woof! 25 single essential oils and coconut oil! Many of the oils are precious and highly-valued ones too. I’m loving it more!

This morning, I applied 2 drops over my ears, back of neck, forehead (just because I want to help erase the frown lines, I rub excess oils on my forehead) and inhaled deeply. Husband commented on the lovely smell – a bonus!

Looking back, I had a rather calm and pleasant day, despite having to send my car to the workshop for the THIRD time in a month, and to go for the THIRD time in 5 days (*gasps* didn’t realise the pattern till now) to an embassy to get a travel visa for my son. Yesterday, when I knew I had to go back to the visa office for the 3rd time because I did not have a document they required, which they conveniently failed to point out to me when I was there 3 days ago, I was ready to scream my head off, but today, I was good. I didn’t feel any frustration. Even after I knew overpaid for parking. How do you estimate the waiting time at the visa office and tear the right number of parking coupons? I wasted $1. Even then, I was good.

Wow, could it be the Joy, Forgiveness and Harmony working to calm my nerves so I could be in tune to God’s presence which gives me peace? I shall continue to Awaken myself.

Come back tomorrow for a post on 3 Wise Men. Enjoy this song, You Are Good.
